People living around the Junction area referred to the area from the Administration Building to Warrington Ave. as the Hollow. Normally just the ROW for the 44-48 routes to get to Beltzhoover, there was often other activity in the Hollow; the P&CSRR ran to an incline at the top of the Hollow. There were a couple buildings that had various uses near the top of the Hollow. Scrapping of PCC cars was done in the Hollow. And County Fair cars would be staged on a loop in the Hollow.
Bob Schmidt lived above the Hollow and he often went out of the house with his camera, some of his photos are in this group but more can be seen here.
