When the Port Authority of Allegheny County was preparing to take over PRCo they took a series of evaluation photographs in 1964. This one was taken from the south end of the tunnel car house area. Most evident are all the PCC cars, two sets of tunnel car shops and the administration building near the top. Off the property you can see the 4 large stacks that show up in so many photo's and behind them South Hills High School that also appear often. The cluster of buildings at the bottom of the photo is Palm Garden Village, erected on the property where the Palm Garden dance hall once stood.
