The Junction in 1916.

In 1916 the Junction area was well maintained. The tracks near the administration building were yet to be paved and the platform appears to be slightly higher than the railhead, making for an easy step onto the cars. You can see the two-story switch tower in the background and the sign for a barbershop inside the building. The mystery track to Mt. Washington is not apparent in this picture.
