Overbrook Bridge rebuilt.

The City had been pressuring PRCo for some time during the '20s to get rid of the arch viaduct, with a column in the middle of the Warrington Ave.  A strongly worded letter from the City exists in the PTM files, and the operative word in it is "menace." As can be seen from this record, construction began in July 1928 and took until May 1930 to complete (by the low bidder, of course). The bridge was double tracked and the spur paralleling Warrington Ave. removed.

The comments on the left of the document indicate that dashed lines are removed track, heavy lines are new track, and light lines are old, remaining track.
