1600

Car 1600 was the All-Electric PCC Demonstrator from St. Louis Car Co. It was fitted with a roof monitor and standee windows.  1600 died in a shop fire at an early age.

The Queen Mary, as car 1600 was called, poses for her official photo. She was delevered on September 5, 1945 and, although unique, was the prototype for the 1700 series PCCs.
