1400-1499

The 1400 series were air cars with no standee windows, the destination sign was not split, and the wiper blades rotated.  A larger cowling surrounded the pole base and the bumper wrapped around.  Built by St. Louis Car Co in 1942 they were very much like the 1200 cars.

Now at Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, 1467 spent a lot of time on the 22 Crosstown route painted with advertisements.

This color shot makes 1475 appear as though paint was once applied. Maybe the front was sitting in the sun too long.
